The Role

We are currently seeking a Mission & Ministry Outreach Worker to join our friendly team. The purpose of this role is to assist the Corps Officer with coordinating and running the various ministries and programs at Tarrawanna Corps to achieve the TSA mission. Duties include developing links between the local corps and community and also develop and co-ordinate new ministry initiatives relevant to community needs. Please note this position requires Sunday church attendance to effectively fulfil the requirements of the role. 


What we are seeking from you?

  • A commitment to the Christian faith and mission of The Salvation Army. An ability to offer pastoral assistance, to offer prayer and to explain the Christian Gospel.
  • Criminal History Record & Working with Children Checks
  • Current Driver License
  • Senior First Aid Certificate.
  • Practical ministry experience within The Salvation Army.
  • Experience within a missional community.
  • WHS – knowledge of work health safety obligations and legislation. 
  • Professional development required to maintain skills for the role.
