CARE SERVICE EMPLOYEE – AGED CARE - GILL WAMINDA, GOULBURN

The Salvation Army (TSA) Aged Care currently operates 2000 residential care places across 20 residential aged care facilities, seven retirement villages and approximately 480 Commonwealth Home Care Packages. About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and professional Care Service Employees for our team at Gill Waminda Aged Care Centre, an inclusive and caring community located just a few streets away from the heart of Goulburn town centre.  In the role of Care Service Employee, you will build strong, positive relationships with our residents and be responsible for the delivery of personal care and assistance to meet individual needs. The role is to deliver homely and loving environments by providing care with compassion, integrity and dignity.



You will have

  • An appreciation of and the ability and willingness to promote and support the values and ethos of The Salvation Army
  • A commitment to providing the best quality of life to our residents
  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care and current First Aid Certificate
  • Understanding of WHS and infection control principles
  • An understanding of residents’ changing care needs and the importance of documentation
  • Computer literacy and experience with documentation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness and ability to work a variety of shifts including nights and weekends
