"Work for an organisation that really makes a difference"

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical branch of the universal Christian Church.  Our message is based on the Bible; our ministry is motivated by love for God.  The mission is both spiritual and practical, encompassing the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the alleviation of human suffering and distress without discrimination.

The Tom Quinn Community Centre Alternative School is a special assistance school catering to co-education  students from Year 7 to 10. We provide education to disadvantaged students who have disengaged from mainstream education in the Bundaberg region. Working within a trauma informed care framework, the school provides opportunities for students to develop social and emotional skills, life skills and industry and employment skills though their engagement with our onsite social enterprises.
